In the modern world of computers and the internet, there’s a vast amount of information available. The Indian Government is doing something wonderful to support learning. They offer free online courses with certificates in India. When you complete one of these courses, you receive a certificate as proof. These courses cover many different topics, so there’s something interesting for everyone.

Overview of Free online courses with certificates in India

1. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made a new website called “Enhancement in Learning with Improvement in Skills (ELIS)” where you can get training on the internet. On this website, you can find many free courses from 18 well-known online education companies like edX, Guvi, Simpliv, and Great Learning.

AICTE doesn’t make the courses, but they collect them all in one place for you to use. The companies that made the courses are responsible for what’s in them, not AICTE.

2. NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning)

The NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) is a team effort involving IITs, IISc, and MHRD. They work together to offer online classes and certificates in various engineering and science subjects.

These subjects include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and others. I suggest you check out what they have to offer. NPTEL also approves these classes and helps students find jobs after finishing them.
